Srinagar, Jul 07 (KNO): Scores of parents of those wards studying in Oasis private school in Gogji Bagh alleged that the school management in the name of girls’ camp have not provided any arrangements for them. The parents said that despite charging Rs 4500 per student, there was no proper arrangement for the girl students. One of the relatives of the student of Oasis private school informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said, “On Friday morning, RTO Kashmir flagged off the girls camp of Oasis school Gogji Bagh for Sonamarg.” “Because of the mismanagement, my niece called up and she was crying,” he said, adding that at least 18 girls have been given just one room and two mattresses. “Ironically, the contact number school management provided to get information and status about the kids, but they never responded to the calls,” he said. Principal of the School, Sameena told KNO that proper arrangements have been made for the students and the school cannot provide five-star like arrangements, which is understandable. “The students may face some hardships as they have to live without parents and fine facilities. Although no student has come up with any such complaint so far with us in this regard,” she said—(KNO)
